Global transports by land, sea, and air – FREJA can do it all
FREJA is known as one of the biggest privately owned transport and logistics companies in the Nordic countries. In Finland, FREJA Transport & Logistics Oy alone handles over 120,000 deliveries every year worldwide.
FREJA’s service portfolio is rather exceptional – the company offers everything from road transport and project forwarding to sea and air freight.
“One phone call and all international transport options are within the end customer’s reach”, states Matti Urmas, Managing Director.
In Ostrobothnia, FREJA has offices in Vaasa and Kronoby. The latter is a fairly new one – it was the headquarters of TL Trans, until FREJA bought the company in 2021.
“We wanted to strengthen our foothold both in Ostrobothnia and in temperature-controlled transports, which TL Trans specialised in”, explains Urmas.
As a company that focuses on international transport, FREJA is a familiar sight in Ostrobothnian ports. From them, FREJA transports trailers and special cargo on a weekly basis to Northern Germany, as close to the end customers as possible.
“Sea freight is an environmentally friendly option, and the shorter the routes between the port and the end customer are, the more emissions are being reduced.”
Although the logistics industry has faced many challenges during the past few years, such as rapidly increasing sea freight prices, FREJA has continued to grow.
“On top of our extensive service portfolio, good customer relationships are one of the main reasons for our growth. According to research, FREJA has the highest customer satisfaction in our industry in Finland.”
Urmas names approachability as an essential ingredient of successful customer service.
“Customers should be able to easily find out who to contact and get fast answers.”
