Solving delivers customised heavy load handling systems for complex industrial needs
Since its foundation in 1977, Solving has provided industrial customers with bespoke heavy load handling systems. Designed to optimise production efficiency, these solutions also ensure safe and reliable transport of loads, regardless of size or weight.
“Our products are widely used in storage facilities and production lines, where they transport items automatically from one stage of the process to the next,” says Nina Karls-Nygård, Project Manager/Team Leader.
“Our speciality is in customised load handling systems, with the capability to move loads weighing up to 1000 tonnes or more. This level of expertise is rare in our field”, adds Reijo Liimatainen, Project Manager at Solving.
Liimatainen led one of Solving’s recent projects in Trondheim, Norway: a customised solution for Hydrogen Mem-Tech. The company manufactures hydrogen separators, which extract hydrogen from biogas and methane, thus creating a cleaner fuel that supports global CO2 reduction goals. The system included an automated guided vehicle (AGV), a system controller and steel pallets, enabling seamless transfer of the separators between assembly stations in a production line.
“The AGV system is user-friendly, allowing operators to easily move products one step forward between workstations, and the customer feedback has been positive”, Liimatainen explains.
“The energy sector is a rapidly evolving industry with significant potential for growth and thus a strong demand for various kinds of handling systems,” notes Reijo Liimatainen.
