Leinolat Group’s companies are aiming for profitable and sustainable growth
Built on a foundation of teamwork, trust, and transparency, Leinolat Group encompasses six specialised companies. Uwira, Kilkanen, Leimec and Adiabatix are subcontractors for the energy sector, while T-Drill and Bobi.com bring proprietary products to market.
“Our subcontracting strategy capitalises on each company’s expertise. Vaasa’s industrial ecosystem acts as a launchpad for reaching new customers across Europe”, notes Lars-Erik Schöring, CEO of Leinolat Group.
A new chapter begins for the Group in 2025. As Schöring retires, Keimo Kalliosaari will step in as CEO, bringing decades of industry experience to the role. Schöring will remain actively involved as Chairman of the parent company and Director in its subsidiaries.
By 2030, Leinolat Group anticipates having 100 new employees. Throughout this growth, employee well-being remains a top priority.
“Our goal is to create a stable, long-term workplace. With team members from ten different nationalities, we prioritise collaboration, mutual respect, and employee integration into the local community”, says Arto Aro, CEO of Uwira.
In 2012, the local newspaper Pohjalainen interviewed two Polish employees at Uwira. Twelve years later, they remain valued team members – a testament to Uwira’s supportive work environment.

Uwira is advancing Leinolat’s sustainability strategy by developing solutions that enable ships to use cleaner fuels.
“We’re proud to be Europe’s top provider of methanol piping solutions, which help shipowners to phase out fuel oil. We have already delivered our systems to cruise ships built in Finland and France”, says Aro.
Uwira has earned an EcoVadis Silver Medal, a recognition of its high sustainability standards. For Leinolat Group, these achievements reflect a proactive approach.
“We don’t wait for clients or EU regulations to push us forward – we drive sustainability because it benefits both the environment and our business”, says Schöring.
Recent years have shown strong momentum, with the Group achieving a 40% top line growth in 2022 and now aiming for a turnover of €50 million.
“T-Drill has acquired patents from Larikka Oy, which will enable the company to enter new industrial sectors. Bobi is responding to shifting market needs by developing smart parcel solutions with Leimec. Our continuous development supports sustainable growth”, Schöring concludes.
